Dr. Bryan Baetens

Dr. Bryan Baetens has been providing his patients with excellent care since 1982!  Dr. Baetens received his doctorate from Life University in Marietta, Georgia and is National Board Certified as a Chiropractic Sports Physician from National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, Illinois.  Trained in many different adjusting techniques, he is easily able to determine which type of treatment is best for each patient.  Dr. Baetens hands on adjusting style and his welcoming personality are the corner stones upon which Baetens Chiropractic has been established.

Dr. Baetens and his wife, Kim, both grew up in St. Clair Shores and are graduates of Lakeview High School.  Currently they live in Grosse Pointe Park with their two sons.  Brandon, the oldest, is pursuing a career as a professional referee in hockey and Brady, the youngest, recently graduated from the Firefighter Academy. 

Being a hockey player himself growing up, Dr. Baetens passed on the love of hockey to his sons; both grew up competing on the ice!  Currently, Dr. Baetens is the goalie coach and team doctor for the St. Clair Shores Unified Hockey team. 

When not on the ice or in the office you can find Dr. Baetens enjoying a round of golf!  Dr. Baetens believes in the physical fitness he recommends; along with the hockey and golf he has completed three marathons and a triathlon. 

Dr. Baetens supports the Chiropractic profession and is an active member in several Chiropractic associations, such as the International Chiropractic Society and the Michigan Association of Chiropractors.

   Dr. Jennifer VandeVeegaete

   Dr. Jennifer VandeVeegaete is National Board certified in Chiropractic  and Physiotherapy.  She is a graduate of Ferris State University and completed her doctorate at Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas.  After completing her internship, Dr. Jennifer worked in several chiropractic offices serving the Houston metropolitan areas as well as throughout Michigan.

Dr. Jennifer's diverse experience allows her to use a variety of techniques specifically tailored to each patient's specific needs, preferences and goals.  She focuses her care on low and moderate force adjustment techniques, caring for a diverse group of patients, from newborns to pregnant moms, teenage athletes to seniors, and from active dads to busy moms.

A native of New Baltimore, Dr. Jennifer is one of six chiropractors in her family and takes pride in the natural approach to illness and disease.  She enjoys spending time outdoors, especially boating, horseback riding and golf.

Shannon Harvey- Office Manager   

  Office Manager, Shannon Harvey, has been in the Chiropractic insurance field for 25 years; having been here at Baetens Chiropractic Center for the past 13years. Her experience in navigating insurance company requirements helps to minimize claim hassles for our patients and keeps their focus on the wellness they deserve!

Shannon lives in St. Clair Shores with her husband of 25 years, David, and their three children ages 22, 18 and 16.  Living in the Lake Shore Public School district, she was elected to the Lake Shore Board of Education in 2006 and currently serves as its Vice-President.

    Teri Kosiara- Insurance Department

Teri Kosiara, our Insurance Department specialist, has been quietly working behind the scenes at Baetens Chiropractic for 8 years now.  She is a champion for our patients, working to make sure their insurance company gives the benefits due to cover their care. 

 Teri and her husband, Joe, live in St. Clair Shores with their three children, ages 20, 21 and 26.  A big hockey family, you are sure to have seen them at the St. Clair Shores Civic Area cheering their “on ice” favorites!”

Donna Brugnano- Front Desk Manager

Donna Brugnano, our Front Desk Manager has been a fixture here at Baetens Chiropractic for 21 years!  Having been a chiropractic patient herself for most of her life, Donna knows first-hand the health benefits regular adjustments provide.  This knowledge makes her the “cheer-leader” for chiropractic and a great support to our patients.

 Donna lives in St. Clair Shores with her husband, Tom.  They have two successful, grown daughters.  Her greatest joy is in her title of Grandma, to her beautiful granddaughter!

     Lanae Kruk- Front Desk Chiropractic Assistant

Lanae Kruk started working at Baetens Chiropractic Center as a teen-ager and we have watched her mature into a confident woman during her 12 years here. Lanae is the very definition of a “people person”.  She truly cares about our patients and will do whatever it takes to help them achieve wellness through Chiropractic.  She knows every patient by their first name and can usually identify your voice on the phone without a hint!

 Lanae and her husband, Joe, live in Harper Woods with their beautiful two year old daughter.

Katie Miller- Front Desk Chiropractic Assistant

Katie Miller is a ray of sunshine at our Front Desk!  Her friendly and cheerful personality greets each patient as they arrive and carries throughout their entire visit here at Baetens Chiropractic. 

 Katie graduated from East Detroit High School and lives with her family in Eastpointe.  Katie has begun a new chapter in her life, she is studying to become a Certified Massage Therapist.

Front Desk Chiropractic Assistant, Gloria LaPere, is new to the Baetens Chiropractic Center team.  She was a patient here prior to employment and has seen first hand the benefits of Chiropractic care.  Gloria is a people person and always has a friendly smile and plenty of enthusiasm. 

Gloria is a sophomore in college and is pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy.  She loves being active, especially running.  She comes from a big family; with four brothers and two sisters.  In her spare time, she enjoys volunteer work and is very active in her church youth group.  She loves helping others!

Front Desk Chiropractic Assistant, Brittany Lambert is a welcome addition to the Baetens Chiropractic family.  She is always smiling and willing to help the patients and make them feel comfortable.

 Brittany is currently attending Macomb Community College to pursue a career in Physical Therapy.  She has a five year old son and enjoys spending time with him and her family in her spare time.  Brittany loves camping and spending time outdoors and stays active by running and working out.

Angela Stechow is a past employee; as well as a current one!  Angela was a “co-op” employee through her high school years and worked in the Insurance Department while attending college.  Now after getting married and having a beautiful daughter, she has come back “home” to Baetens Chiropractic!  Having Angela back in the Insurance Department has helped improve our speed in getting claims paid for our patients.

 Angela lives in Cottrellville with her husband, Ryan, and their adorable one year old daughter.
